Owner Frequently Asked Questions

Q: IF I TURN OVER MY VACANT PROPERTY TO INMAN REALTY TO LEASE, WILL YOU ORDER ANY REPAIRS/PAINTING AND /OR CLEANING THAT MAY NEED TO BE DONE TO GET THE PROPERTY RENT READY?

A: We will review with you the preparation needs of your rental property and if you elect to have us oversee the preparation of the property for showings and new tenants, there is a charge to you for this service. Please see your management contract.

All roofing, major plumbing, air conditioning, heating, appliances and electrical repairs will be performed by licensed vendors. All vendors will be hired in your name and you will be obligated for all charges incurred.

If your property is in “rent ready” condition when you turn it over to us and nothing needs to be repaired, replaced or cleaned, we do not charge you any additional fees.

Q: ARE YOU LICENSED?

A: Yes. We are licensed by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission.

Q: CAN I REACHED YOU AFTER OFFICE HOURS?

A: We are available after hours on an emergency basis. Our normal business hours are M-F 9am-5pm.

Q: CAN YOU PUT THE MONEY DIRECTLY TO MY ACCOUNT?

A: Yes. We offer Direct Deposit as a no fee service to our owners

Q: DO I GET TO SEE THE LEASE OR SIGN IT?

A: Yes. A copy of the lease will be available on your owner portal after move in.

Q: DO YOU SELL A REAL ESTATE TOO?

A: Yes. We are fully licensed to sell Real Estate in the State of Tennessee.

Q: HOW MUCH SECURITY DEPOSIT DO YOU CHARGE THE TENANT?

A: Our normal deposit requirement is equal to one month’s rent. Additional deposits may be required depending on a tenants credit and rental history.

Q. WHAT TYPE OF PROPERTIES DO YOU MANAGE?

A: We manage single family, multiple family and commercial properties.
